Seoul, July 3 2008 — Mitsubishi Motors Corporation announces that, as one of the key elements of its strategy for the Asian region in fiscal 2008, it is to enter the built-up car sales business in Korea working through its sole distributor in that country MMSK Corporation (see profile below).

Republic of Uzbekistan President Visits GM's Korea Operations

2008-02-26, Incheon, Korea – General Motors Corp. and UzAvtoSanoat of Uzbekistan signed a series of agreements today at GM Daewoo Auto & Technology (GM Daewoo) in the presence of Republic of Uzbekistan President Islam Karimov, who is making a visit to Korea.
According to today’s agreements:
* The Chevrolet Lacetti will be assembled in Uzbekistan within this year from component kits supplied by GM Daewoo. The Chevrolet Lacetti will be the fourth Chevrolet model built by UzAvtoSanoat in Uzbekistan, joining the Chevrolet Captiva, Chevrolet Epica and Chevrolet Tacuma.
2008 Infiniti EX35 Released in Korea
TOKYO, Jan. 24, 2008 -- Infiniti, the global luxury brand of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., today started the sales of the all-new Infiniti EX in Korea. Nissan Korea Co., Ltd. held a launch event at Jamsil Olympic Stadium in Seoul on January 23rd and 24th.
The all-new 2008 Infiniti EX35, which went on sale in the United States in late December 2007, offers an exceptional combination of seductive design, elegant interior and advanced technology systems - including the advanced Around View Monitor (AVM) system, which utilizes four small cameras to give the driver a "top-down view" of the outside of the vehicle while parking. SEOUL, Oct. 9, 2007 – After introducing its luxury Infiniti automotive brand here two years ago, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (NML), Japan, has unveiled plans to bring the Nissan brand to Korea one year later. The move was announced at a recent press conference here.
