The new Renault Duster, officially unveiled. The top model generates 145 HP and 4×4 as standard
Renault has recently presented the first images and official information of the new Duster.
- Renault officially presents the new Duster
- The model presents several changes in comparison to Dacia version
- The top version offers an 145 HP engine
Only months after the official presentation of Dacia Duster second generation, Renault decided to improve its own version of the crossover built at Mioveni, following the same treatment.
In fact, the car with the diamond-shaped logo features certain differences both on the exterior and interior, the main changes are related to the front grill design, namely the air vents.
The series of the shared elements continues without exception, the new Renault Duster follows the model of Dacia Duster, but it features automatic air conditioning, keyless entry, Blind Spot Warning and four 360 degree cameras, among others.
When considering the motorization range, we are faced again with several noteworthy differences, as the diamond logo crossover features a top version 2-litre gasoline engine generating 145 HP, with an automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive.
Another significant difference between the two Duster models is that the car to be sold under the Renault sub-brand will be marketed together with the SCe 115 unit featuring a manual gearbox or a CVT transmission.
Finally, the diamond logo car drive offer is ended with dCi 85/90 and dCi 110 drive systems, a 110 HP engine inspired by Dacia version and proposing, optionally, a dual-clutch automatic transmission.
For the time being, there is no information on its availability or price list for the new Renault Duster, as it remains a mystery regarding the date and the auto show where it shall have its public debut.
