Six-figure donation to youth charity after court victory

Stuttgart/London, 7/7/2008 -- Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, and its sales subsidiary Porsche Cars Great Britain, won their fight against the increase in the London congestion charge. The signature of a consent order by an administrative court in London has finally swept the plans of the former Mayor, Ken Livingstone, to introduce an unfair and disproportionate daily charge of £25 per driver in central London off the table. The agreement also included the award of legal costs. Porsche will donate these costs, expected to be a six-figure sum, to the British youth charity Skidz.

Dr. Wolfgang Lindheim appointed as Chief Financial Officer

Stuttgart, 6/27/2008 -- The rapid development of Porsche Consulting GmbH, Bietigheim-Bissingen, calls for an expansion of management capacities. For this reason, the board of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, has appointed Dr. Wolfgang Lindheim (47) as Chief Financial Officer of the subsidiary. From August 1, 2008, Dr. Lindheim will take responsibility for the departments of Finance, Controlling, Human Resource and IT.

At the same time, Eberhard Weiblen (44), who up till now was the sole Director of Porsche Consulting, will be appointed as Chairman of the Executive Board. In future, he will be responsible for the consultancy business, the strategic development and the marketing of the Porsche subsidiary.

Stuttgart, 6/18/2008 -- Porsche Deutschland GmbH, Bietigheim-Bissingen, has sold the Porsche Center Mannheim to Penske Automotive Europe GmbH, Wiesbaden, a member of the Penske Group. From July 1, 2008, the Center will be doing business under the name of Penske Sportwagen-zentrum GmbH, Mannheim, and will be responsible for sales and service of Porsche vehicles in the Rhine-Neckar area.

The two young birds of the species aquila heliaca, which is threatened worldwide with extinction, hatched six weeks ago in Greifvogelpark Hellenthal, falconer Horst Niesters’ sanctuary park for birds of prey in the Eifel region. This successful hatching is regarded as a sensation in expert circles.

Award for Services to the Federal State of Baden- Württemberg

Porsche AG, has been presented with the Staufer Gold Medal by the Minister of the Interior of the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg, Heribert Rech. The presentation of this medal, which is the highest honor Baden-Würt­temberg can confer, took place yesterday evening at a reception held by the Porsche Board in the factory Ca­sino at the car manufacturer’s main works in Zuffenhausen, to mark Wolfgang Porsche’s sixty-fifth birthday.

Porsche AG, Stuttgart, has founded the first Porsche Training and Recruitment Center Asia in the Philippines, in cooperation with the Don Bosco Technical Institute. Every year, 40 socially under-privileged young people will receive vocational training here as automotive specialists, who can be employed in future in Porsche Centers throughout the Asiatic region.
