Nissan Announces New Corporate Vice President
TOKYO, April 24, 2008 – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced the appointment of a new corporate vice president (CVP).
In support of the ongoing dealer restructuring in Japan, Nissan will appoint Fumiko Hayashi, former Chairman of the Representative Board of The Daiei, Inc., as an interim Corporate Vice President of Nissan Motor Company, starting May 1, 2008.
Hayashi will remain as CVP for two months pending her further appointment to become Representative President and Director of Tokyo Nissan Auto Sales Co., Ltd., as well as Director of Tonichi Carlife Group, Inc., subject to approval by the annual shareholders’ meeting of each company in June.
Nissan Announces Production, Sales and Export Results for March 2008 and FY2007
All time annual production record for a single year
TOKYO (April 23, 2008) – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced production, sales and export figures for March and the 12 months ended March 31, 2008.

March
Nissan’s global production in March increased 1.2% year-on-year to 312,449 units.
Export models from Japan such as Rogue, X-Trail, Dualis and Tiida boosted domestic production to 139,420 units, exceeding the previous year by 27.2%.
Overseas production dropped 13.1% year-on-year to 173,029 units.
In the U.S., production fell 26.9% year-on-year to 47,776 units.
In Mexico, production decreased 40.9% year-on-year to 23,223 units.

Nissan Unveils Nissan Teana, Infiniti EX35 at 2008 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition
TOKYO, April 21, 2008 - Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. yesterday revealed the new Nissan Teana premium sedan at the 2008 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition. Joining the global debut of the Teana in Beijing is the Infiniti EX luxury sport crossover, 2008 Infiniti EX35, launching for the first time in China.

Nissan Starts LCV Business in Russia
Two products to be launched in September 2008 in addition to six models in line up by end of 2011
Tokyo, April 17, 2008 -- Nissan Motor Co. Ltd., is announcing plans to enter the Russian light commercial vehicle (LCV) market in 2008. Nissan Motor Rus, will launch the NP300 pick up and the Cabstar light duty truck in September, this year. The range will be extended to six products by the end of 2011.
The vehicles will be sold through a network of specialised Nissan LCV centres, which will be constituted as part of the existing Nissan dealer network. This network will provide customers with a full range of professional services including special leasing and finance plans, corporate sales programs, road assistance plans and a wide variety of body conversions.

First automotive facility to receive the highest CASBEE-S ranking in Japan
TOKYO, April. 16, 2008 -- The Nissan Advanced Technology Center(NATC), completed in May, 2007, has been awarded the highest “S” ranking under CASBEE* (Comprehensive Assessment System for Building Environmental Efficiency) by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, as sanctioned by IBEC (Institute for Building Environment and Energy Conservation), the certification body of CASBEE, on March 31, 2008. NATC is the first automotive facility to receive the highest CASBEE-S ranking.

Chrysler and Nissan Confirm New OEM Product Agreements
Auburn Hills, Mich./Tokyo, Apr 14, 2008 - Chrysler LLC and Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., today announced two new agreements for the supply of products between both companies. In January, Nissan agreed to supply Chrysler with a new car based on the Nissan Versa sedan for limited distribution in South America on an Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) basis in 2009.
