Nissan teased its restyled 2021 Kicks crossover
It is refreshed with stark styling and a nicer interior; it goes on sale in February, next year
The pricing will be announced closer to the on-sale date. The 2021 Nissan Kicks, the brand’s entry-level subcompact crossover, gets Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability standard. It has upgraded technology and additional standard safety items.
Much more attractive than its predecessor, its style is energetic and youthful, with new grill design and a new wheel design. The 2021 Kicks features a new front fascia with a “double V-motion” grill flanked by new LED headlights. The entry-level crossover also benefits from sportier air intakes and new LED fog lights.
Besides, we see a revised color scheme that includes three vibrant new shades as well as new two-tone shades.
This new Nissan crossover is still powered by the same 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 122 horsepower and 114 pound-feet of torque. It also gets a new electronic parking brake with an auto-hold function.
The Kicks is incrementally improved inside, with better quality materials. The model also benefits from an additional USB Type-C port, an optional center console with an armrest and a new 8-inch infotainment system in the SV and SR versions. Evens the base model comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with an optional Bose sound system and smart peripheral vision monitor. In-car WiFi is possible, but it’s not standard.
