GV70, Genesis realeased the first photos of its new crossover SUV
It is coming to showrooms next year as the latest entry in the competitive small premium SUV segment.
Genesis Motor, LLC, commonly referred to as Genesis, is the luxury vehicle division of the South Korean vehicle manufacturer Hyundai Motor Group.
“Genesis continues to build on our solid foundation with the addition of new and exciting products to our lineup. With the upcoming release of the dynamic GV70 and a further diversified product portfolio, Genesis will be able to reach an even broader audience of consumers” – said Mark Del Rosso, President and Chief Executive Officer of Genesis Motor North America.
The GV70 features the company’s crest grille at the front. As compared to GV80, it is lower to give the GV70 the look of a sporty crossover. This SUV has an exclusive front bumper, 21-inch G-Matrix pattern-applied wheels, dark chrome garnishes, and a large diameter exhaust.
Besides, as compared to GV80, this model is more dynamic, owing to the more dramatic slope of the roof toward the rear. Most likely, the standard powertrain will be a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-4 with around 300 horsepower, and the available powertrain a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6 with around 375 hp.
More details will be announced closer to the market launch but Genesis has confirmed that there will be both a regular model and GV70 Sport.
