The new Fiat 124 Spider Abarth aims to conquer the next generation of car enthusiasts, maximizing the combination of the original roadster experience, technology, safety and the unmistakable Italian design.
Built by the Abarth Racing team, this car embodies perfectly the values of the brand: performance, tradition and technical excellence. Fiat 124 Spider Abarth is the car designed to put a smile on the faces of those lucky enough to drive it.
Under the bonnet, the car features a 1.4-liter turbo engine, ultra-reliable, which benefits also of the MultiAir technology. It generates 170 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque, specifications making the car to reach a top speed of 232 km / h, and to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.8 seconds. Spider Abarth is available with a six-speed manual or an automatic Esseesse Sports Sequential gearbox.
The sound of the engine is a key feature of all Abarth cars, and the standard package includes a Record Monza exhaust system capable of modifying the path of the exhaust gas in accordance with the engine speed and generating a deep sound.
The suspension uses different systems in the front and rear, especially adjusted for a greater stability during braking and turns.
The unique design of the 124 Spider harmoniously intertwines with its mechanical performances, which are essential characteristics to achieve perfect proportions on a sports car: elongated bonnet reaffirming the importance of the engine and the car’s high power, the short overhangs enhance its agility, while the passenger compartment gives the driver a real feel of the road.
The LED headlamps and rear lights add to the expressiveness of the car, both by day or by night.
This supercar comes in five colors: two pastel shades “Turini 1975 white” and “Costa Brava 1972 red”; and three metalized shades: “Isola d’Elba 1974 blue”, “Portogallo 1974 grey” and “San Marino 1972 black”.
