Audi premiered at SEMA tuning show, taking place these days in Las Vegas, its TT concept coupe’ generating just about 600 horsepower. The novelty has a name: Audi TT clubsport turbo concept.

This prototype created in the style of an Audi 90 IMSA GTO, a car from the 1980’s, is 14 centimeters wider than a regular Audi TT. Under the bonnet hides a 2.5-litre and 5-cylinder engine, assisted by an electrically controlled turbine.

Audi claims that this car sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds. Its top speed does not exceed 310 km/h.

In addition to a strong “heart”, this coupe has a four-wheel drive system, an aggressive aerodynamic kit on the exterior, and a carbon-fiber rear wing with a manually adjustable angle of attack.

For now, the company gave no insight on whether this car is going to be mass-produced, for instance, for autosport.

Note that Audi 90 IMSA GTO is equipped with a 5-cylinder engine and 2.2-litre of volume, generating more than 720 horsepower.
