Literally. In addition to the color chosen for the Prototype 9 body, innovation goes perfectly to the call of history: a classic 1940’s racecar and an all-electric motor.

Infiniti Prototype 9 offers a single seat in the 4330 mm in length and it is powered by an electric engine generating 148 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. It weighs 890 kg and can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds.

Prototype 9 has a maximum speed of 170 km/h and it can run roughly 20 minutes on a 30 kWh Lithium-ion battery provided by Nissan.

Infiniti Prototype 9 is a tribute to Prince Motor Company and their racecar Prince R380. Unit merger with Nissan in 1966, Prince Motor was considered Japan’s premium car manufacturer, a role played later on by Infiniti.
