Dacia writes history in Russia. Which are the most successful models?
According to an analysis carried out by the Association of European Businesses, Kia Rio is ranked first on the Best Selling Car ranking in Russia, last month, followed by AvtoVAZ Lada Granta and Lada Vesta, Hyundai Creta, Hyundai Solaris, Volkswagen Polo and Dacia Duster.
Ranked 10th and 11th is also Dacia Logan and Sandero.
„The increase with more than 10% on the Russian market continues for the third time in a row, total car sales in 2017 are likely to return to the high level in 2015”, praised Joerg Schreiber, Chairman of the Association of European Businesses.
In the first ten months of 2017, in Russia have been sold 1.27 million vehicles and light commercial cars, an increase of 11.3% compared to the same period of 2016.
For the period from January to October 2017, the Best Selling Car ranking in Russia was as follows:
- Kia Rio (82.311 units)
- Lada Granta (75.910 cars)
- Lada Vesta (62.270 units)
- Hyundai Solaris (58.374 cars)
- Hyundai Creta (43.648 units)
- Polo (38.088 cars)
- Dacia Duster (690 units)
- Dacia Logan (24.311 units)
- Dacia Sandero (24.223 de units).
The Association of European Businesses (AEB) estimates that this year sales will increase on the Russian market by 4% to 1.48 million units, while, last year, car sales dropped by 11%, to 1.42 million units.
