Lexus RXL, the 7-seater premium SUV version of the Japanese automaker, was launched on November 29, and shall be available with an 3.5-litre engine and 295 horsepower, but also with a hybrid system of over 300 hp.

The next generation Lexus RX was launched on the occasion of the Frankfurt Auto Show in 2015, which tripled their sales in Europe to more than 8.000 de units in 2016.

Nevertheless, the sales of the premium SUV showed a slight decrease this year, to less than 4.000 units in the first 6 months, and Lexus tries to find a solution for revitalizing the interests of its customers.

In order to do so, the Japanese manufacturer will display its 7-seater SUV version on November 29th at the LA Auto Show. This model had already been announced last year and will have the same design as the classical version, instead will offer more “flexibility” to its passengers.

Moreover, the engine will have no surprises. Since this version of Lexus RXL 350L equipped with a 3.5-litre V6 engine capable of generating 295 horsepower, and also its hybrid version Lexus RXL 450h, benefiting from the same 3.5-litre engine but with a power of 263 horsepower, connected with two electric motors. Total hybrid system power reaches therefore 313 horsepower.
