The New Smart Fortwo Cabrio is on sale

Starting this year the New Smart Fortwo Cabrio will be available for sale. Two engine variants coupled to the twin-car automated transmission will be available at launch, with manual transmissions being launched in the coming period.

With a simple touch of a button, the New Smart Fortwo convertible turns from the well-known two-seater and closed-type car into a vehicle fitted with a retractable roof or into a true cabriolet with the fully folded ceiling.

The New Smart Fortwo Cabrio has a length of 2.69 m, a width of 1.66 m and a height of 1.55 m and regarding the propulsion systems available versions include two engines, two transmissions and three lines of equipment.

In the first phase, the New Cabrio will be equipped with last generation three-cylinder engines, available in two versions: with a power of 52 kW (71 HP) or 66 kW (90 HP). At the time of launch, both engine variants feature dual twin clutch transmission. Five-speed manual transmission will be launched in the upcoming period.

In addition to the three lines of equipment – passion, premium and proxy – customers can choose from a wide range of safety and comfort accessories including new features added to the latest facelift, such as the Urban Style package (which includes black wing flaps and a lowered suspension).
