September, 2006 – Torrance, CA - The Toyota Sienna family van gets an infusion of power for 2007 with a new, 266-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine that replaces the previous 215-horsepower 3.3-liter V6. The new engine significantly improves acceleration and merging performance for Sienna, yet returns fuel economy comparable to the previous engine.

The 2007 Toyota Sienna's DOHC 3.5L V6 produces 245 lb.-ft. peak torque at 4,700 rpm. A Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (Dual VVT-i) system operates on both the intake and exhaust valves to ensure optimal performance and efficiency at all engine speeds.
