FCX Clarity Leasing in Japan to begin November 2008

TOKYO, Japan, July 2, 2008– Honda Motor Co., Ltd. unveiled the Japan model of its FCX Clarity fuel cell vehicle, which will also be displayed at the Environmental Showcase at the G8 Hokkaido Toyako Summit that begins July 7, 2008. Leasing in Japan is scheduled to begin November 2008.

Initially, leases are to be limited to government agencies and certain corporate customers. Nissan Green Program 2010 environmental commitments receives stamp of approval from Japan’s Ministry of Environment

TOKYO, July 1, 2008 -- Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., has been endorsed as an ‘Eco First’ company by Japan’s Ministry of Environment for its environmental commitments set out under the Nissan Green Program 2010. The official certification will be awarded to Nissan by the Minister of Environment, Ichiro Kamoshita, at a ceremony to be held at the Ministry of Environment on July 1.

Established under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment in April 2008, the ECO First program serves to recognize and promote the environmental actions of companies that are compliant with the Kyoto Protocol.

Tokyo, June 27, 2008 -- Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI), the maker of Subaru automobiles, today announced the successful development of its Subaru Plug-in STELLA Concept model, a prototype electric vehicle (EV). FHI will provide five units of the Plug-in STELLA Concept for use at the Hokkaido Toyako Summit to be held July 7 through 9, 2008. Four of the five will be used to transport government officials and other participants at the summit, while one vehicle will be displayed at the Environmental Showcase, an exhibition and demonstration area in the International Media Center, and it will also be available for a test drive.

Nissan to Grow Car Rental Business in Japan through New Subsidiary

TOKYO, June 26, 2008 – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and Nissan Financial Services, Co., Ltd. (NFS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nissan, today announced the decision to separate its car rental business division – Nissan Rent-a-Car - currently under NFS and integrate it under Nissan Network Holdings Co., Ltd.,* by December 2008.

In Japan, the car rental business is expected to grow further, due to the diversification of vehicle ownership patterns. As one of its core businesses, Nissan will establish a dedicated car rental subsidiary to facilitate the expansion of the business through the right allocation of resources and focused management.

NFS will continue to focus on its core business of vehicle leasing and financing.

YOKOHAMA, June 25, 2008 – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today held its 109th Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders at the National Convention Hall of Yokohama. The meeting lasted for 2 hours 31 minutes starting from 10:00 JST and concluded at 12:31 JST. A total of 2034 shareholders attended the meeting.

President and CEO Carlos Ghosn delivered an address to the shareholders, reporting on the company’s fiscal year 2007 sales and financial performance, outlook for 2008, and the strategic vision for the next five years under the Nissan GT 2012 mid-term business plan.

Nissan proposed a 20-yen-per-share year-end dividend, giving a full-year dividend of 40 yen per share for FY2007.

TOKYO, June 24, 2008 -- Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. will publish its 2008 Sustainability Report on June 25, after the conclusion of its 109th Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders. The fifth-edition of the report offers an update of Nissan's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives within the scope of nine key focus areas identified by the company.

The report includes the Nissan CSR Scorecard which tracks the progress made on annual CSR objectives. It also outlines the achievements during fiscal year 2007 and defines new targets for 2008 as part of a roadmap for continued CSR development.

SUPER GT 2008 Round 4 Race Report

June 23, 2008 -- On the outskirts of the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur, Sepang International Circuit (1 lap – 5.542kms) played host to Round 4 of the SUPER GT series. Starting from a fourth-place qualifying result, the WOODONE ADVAN Clarion GT-R (#24 – Joao Paolo de Oliveira/Seiji Ara) took the win. In second place, the pole-starting MOTUL AUTECH GT-R, (#22 – Michael Krumm/Masataka Yanagida) came second, resulting in a resounding 1-2 finish for the NISSAN GT-R.

From four rounds this season, this is the third victory for the NISSAN supercar. KONDO Racing was also victorious last year; that win coming in a NISSAN Z. It is the team’s second successive Sepang victory.

TOKYO, Japan, June 23, 2008 – Honda Motor Co., Ltd. issued the Honda Environmental Annual Report 2008 (Japanese language version), outlining results of the company’s environmental initiatives for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2008 as well as targets for the current fiscal year ending March 31, 2009.

Honda Sets All-Time Record for Auto Production in the Month of April for Regions Outside Japan and Worldwide

TOKYO, Japan, May 27, 2008 – Honda Motor Co., Ltd. announced a summary of automobile production, Japan domestic sales, and export results for the month of April 2008.

Production in Japan experienced a year-on-year decrease for the eighth consecutive month (since September 2007).

Production in regions outside of Japan experienced a year-on-year increase for the 33rd consecutive month (since August 2005), setting an all-time record for the month of April. This includes record production for the month of April in North America, the U.S., Europe, Asia, and China.
