8/17/2008 -- The 7th ADAC Rallye Deutschland finished at lunchtime in front of an enthusiastic crowd that had gathered to cheer on their heroes from every category. The fifth round of the Junior World Rally Championship proved to be extremely positive for the Citroen C2 Super 1600s, which were classified first, second and fourth at the end of the event. Weather conditions were a lot less fickle than usual throughout the rally, with sunshine and dry roads characterising the 352.63 competitive kilometres.

Paris, 8 July 2008 -- Citroën reports growth in France, Central and Eastern Europe and Mercosur and resilient results in Western Europe. Also, Citroën C4 Picasso confirms its success as Citroën is European No. 1 in the compact MPV segment. Additionally, ther were successful debuts by the latest models: Nemo, New C5 and New Berlingo.

A dynamic upgrade for the 2009 Citroën C4

The Citroën C4, launched in late 2004 as a hatchback and coupé, has been an immense success for Citroën, selling nearly 900,000 units sold worldwide.

Citroën has made a number of changes to the C4 to make it even more:
• elegant, dynamic and efficient,
• economical and low on emissions,
• interactive and communicative.

Citroën has made some judicious styling tweaks to strengthen the car’s successful design, which has been a hit with the public right from the start. The restyle focused on the front end, emphasising its elegance, strength and energy.

The interior has also been redesigned. Citroën has added new upholstery and a new grain on several trim parts, and incorporated the rev counter in the middle of the dashboard.

Engine-wise, the 2009 Citroën C4 is now available with two new petrol engines co-developed with BMW. The VTi 120 and THP 150 units bring even more on-road pleasure and significantly reduce fuel consumption and emissions.

It began to cooperate with GWM in July 2007 and has been dedicated to exploit the market since then. After GWPERI being put into market, Ezz Elarab Company made a market survey, finding GWPERI matched the Egyptian market and ordered 800 units at once.

PSA Peugeot Citroen, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation Announce Cooperative Project for Electric Powertrains

Paris, Tokyo, June 17, 2008— PSA Peugeot Citroen and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) announced today that both companies agreed to start a feasibility study on an extended technical collaboration in the field of electric powertrains.

This project, which will run over several months, relates to the development, the manufacture and the use of an electric powertrain for small urban vehicles.

To step up the viability of electric vehicle projects and accelerate market introduction, the companies agreed that cooperation on electric vehicle development and production would be mutually beneficial.

This new agreement reinforces the bonds between the two manufacturers who, a week ago, laid the first stone of their joint Russian factory, in Kaluga (180 km south west of Moscow)
