Wolfsburg, 09 June 2008 -- For the first time, Volkswagen has awarded a diploma to the best international salespersons. At a ceremony held last week in the Autostadt, 55 people who successfully completed the Volkswagen International Training Center received certificates and trophies. Awards were made to Volkswagen Brand salespersons from Italy, Ireland, Slovakia and Turkey.

TOKYO, May 9, 2008 – Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (NML), today announced the appointment of Hover Automotive India Private Ltd. (Hover) as its service partner for marketing, sales, after-sales service and dealer development in India, effective May 8, 2008. Under the service provision agreement, Hover will undertake the implementation of Nissan’s marketing and sales strategy, and support dealer development in India, with the aim of establishing 55 dealers by 2012.

Apr 09, 2008 -- Volvo Car Corporation has been recognised as the most popular and best-perceived car brand on the Polish market. What is more, Volvo Car's Polish workshops are recognised as offering the best service with the highest quality. All according to a reader survey in the "Auto Świat" motoring weekly.

The National Auto Test competition is held annually by the motoring magazine "Auto Świat", which is the Polish edition of "Auto Bild". The readers answer a highly detailed questionnaire on the Internet and share their opinions on their cars as well as car ownership experiences.

More than 18,000 people took part in this year's survey. Volvo Car Poland's results indicate a high level of customer satisfaction, at 86.61 points out of a possible 100.

Werner Eichhorn to Become Volkswagen's Head of Sales Germany

Wolfsburg, 09 April 2008 - Werner Eichhorn (45) has been appointed Head of Sales Germany at the Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand effective June 1, 2008. He succeeds Stefan Müller (47), who left the company on March 31, 2008.

Eichhorn joined Volkswagen in Wolfsburg as an apprentice industrial clerk in 1979. Following posts as a marketing planner and regional sales manager for exports at Volkswagen AG he assumed responsibility for sales control at Audi in Ingolstadt in 1993. In this position he was latterly responsible for sales throughout Europe and in China.
