CARB (California Air Resources Board)

CARB (California Air Resources Board) – Funds the Alternative-Fuel Vehicle (AFV) Incentive Program (also known as Fueling Alternatives) and the PHEV Research Center and is responsible for attaining and maintaining healthy air quality; protecting the public from exposure to toxic air contaminants and pollutants; and providing innovative approaches for complying with air pollution rules and regulations.
