Aerodynamic Drag

Aerodynamic Drag - This determines how fast a vehicle can go for a given amount of driving power.

A vehicle's aerodynamic drag is made up of three main components:
• Skin friction: drag due to the surface texture and area;
• Profile drag: drag from the three-dimensional shape of the vehicle; and
• Service drag: drag from air ducted to the cooling components
