June 1, 2007 -- The U.S. Department of Energy held a Manufacturing Pre-Solicitation Workshop in Arlington, Va., on May 18, 2007. Workshop participants reviewed the application process and discussed proposed topics for a research and development funding opportunity to advance manufacturing technologies for hydrogen and fuel cell systems.
DOE anticipates funding approximately $48 million over 3 to 5 years for this solicitation, with recipients sharing 30%-40% of the cost.
